Radha Nagesh is a trained counsellor and volunteer with Viveka – Centre for Emotional Support, Bangalore, India, since 2006. She is a Life Member Volunteer, Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare (KSCCW) Bangalore. She initiated and is successfully running a Counselling Centre at KSCCW, which is an outreach initiative, reaching out to the beneficiaries of the NGO and the under privileged. She did her Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology, College of Allied Educators, Singapore in 2010 and Preservice Training of Foster Adoptive and Kinship Caregivers by LaMb International, Canada in 2018 in Hyderabad.
Married to an Air Force officer and mother of two children, her focus areas which has kept her deeply engaged for more than 25 years now, is in bringing about a positive change in the lives of the waiting children in institutions and bringing in a paradigm shift in making the thinking more child centric. Her competencies being empowering adoptive parents both from urban and rural, with skills to parent a child who might have been abused, neglected, or traumatised in their early life, and, understanding family dynamics, older child preparation and counselling interventions in adoption disruptions. She periodically holds moderated group discussions for prospective adoptive parents, prospective single parents & parents with adolescent children and is actively involved with Adoption Families Support Groups and has helped hold many residential workshops with international speakers for adoptive families.
She was part of the Team of Trainers for CARA from January 2019 – December 2020, imparting training to the stakeholders and key functional staff of Child Care Institutions and social workers, nationwide. Presently training adoption stake holders in Adoption Counselling, Pan India.

We have several avenues at TVC where you can receive hope, care, and encouragement. Open share groups, curriculum-based groups, one-on-one discipleship, corporate teaching, corporate worship, and classes are available for connection and care.

The Art of Care

The Art of Care is a two-semester foundational class that explores the beauty and nuance of caring for one another through seasons of loss, suffering, or oppression and equipping you with TVC’s trauma-informed philosophy of care. We teach through topics such as depression, anxiety, grief, abuse cycles, dysfunctional relationship patterns, addiction, marriage conflict, and family of origin.
